One that springs to mind is channel mixing; it's hard to explain, but you can mix any of the channels in so many ways using all the adjustments. The 3.0 was lacking some of the finer points. Sorry I can't elaborate further, it's been a while since I used both side by side to compare, but I do remember that in particular when I was messing around mixing CH3 brakes on my GTP (v1). Maybe it's just the menu system that makes things seem more readily accessible.

From what you said above, I will probably never use. I have mixing on my Futaba FM and it is a PITA to set up...so , I don't even bother w/it
