Good to know about Lehner and Neu.. That's an eye-opener to me. Nice to know...

I remember seeing quite a few people run Neu's in their rc18. It might take a little modding or an aftermarket mount I guess.. I have had a Neu in my old recoil and my vendetta st. The 1107 I had in my detta was best.. holy crap... 8500kv custom wind on 2s. I had to trim the chassis a little and the motor almost touched the servo.... insaine...

Heres pics of the detta and recoil

Same setup in both in the pics, but I had a 1105/1....5y? in the recoil with a cheap ass suppo 40a esc. It worked, and worked great. Kind of funny having a $10 esc powering your $100 dollar motor in a mini.

and hey, lookig through these old pics I might as well post up a picture of this great looking guy. (or at least thats what they say..)

Usually its the other way around...

But either way, I have a 300 dollar motor in my G2R and a 260 dollar motor in my CRT.5 and both were at one point powered by Mamba Max ESCs. The G2R now has a Monster Maxx, but even so. That is only like 25 dollars more...

So having a motor cost way more than an ESC isn't unheard of.
