If you can get a mbx-5 they are bomb proof....I have one that's converted and love it

You really can't go wrong w/Associated, X-ray or Losi


1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

I have heard mixed things with Associated. Most people like Losi, and Xray isn't that a racing company? Like high end? I will look for used mbx-5's.

That said, my Ofna Hyper8 and MBX5 have both been quite solid. I've bashed my Hyper8 a lot and the only things that broke (chassis, front shock tower) were the result collisions from high speed and inanimate objects.
Traxxas... but next would be a tie with AE and Losi. Hmm... guess it depends what i can find good deals on used. You guys know what cars make easy conversions? With easy to mount batteries and pre-made RCM mounts? I really just want a tough buggy that is easy to convert. Which might be a Raze if i could find parts for it...
