I reccomend plastic, why, because they save money, are cheaper to replace, and are alot lighter, in a big crash you are more likely to bend a aluminum rim, as for plastic, it may chip a peice of plastic and still be useable.

just keep in mind that if you get the dace adapters the go directly over the stock 14mm hex unlike the prolines which eliminate the 14mm hex and just use the stock pin.

DO the dace adapters. they capture and clamp the rim over a larger surface area. Stick with plastic 23mm rims, the wabash rims are the wrong offset, go velocity series either dish or for some bling the velo 6 are nice. For 40 series, the cheyenne has the bling. STay away from the bead locks. to heavy. Tire wise unless you race the mashers are a good all around tire . The crime fighters are sweet especially if you race. I do not like 40mm bowtie , no side wall. Traxxas plastic body mounts remain on my rig. The axle bearings for the 6mm Ue cvd's and the racer x knuckles are 6x16x5 you will need 8. The bearings for the servo saver fro UE are included. Transmission 2@6x12x4mm and 2@5x11x4mm. The bearings for your bulhead / Diff, I need to know what you are going with?

The hybrids coupled with the 8 Spyder diffs should include the bearings needed. The only thing lift is the single speed conversion. How many bearings are supposed to be there inside that conversion?

What are the stock gears I'm going to need after getting the 1/8 diffs and idlers?

your going to need the plastic second speed gear, the output shaft, the input shaft (modified for the single speed), the idler shaft, and mikes idler, strobe slipper, plastic or derilin ofna spur, stock pressure plates, and i would recommend the sprong kit. you will need all of that and then your flm cnc'd half and the singlespeed conversion. i think thats all for the tranny. not sure what motor mount you wanna run but theres a few better than stock.
