I personally dont like our switches either....but I have never had one shut off at any point while racing. Not in 1/10, or 1/8 racing. I think its all about how you mount it. I always mount mine in a front to back orientation with the car and always put "on" towards the front. ( a lesson learned running 1/8 nitro
