What do you mean Neu easily has Lehner beat? Lehner is top quality like Neu, Plettenberg, Hacker etc... Just a different build type. Lehners/Hackers are more of rpm type motors or "top end" because of them being 2-poles. Plettenberg/Neu/Medusa are more of torque motors due to them having 4-poles.
Determining on what your going for "top speed or torque" either one will not dissapoint.
