No bashing Tekin or Novak in my forum please.. I like that there are alternatives that are USA manufacturers. Feel free to bash the Chinese and Taiwanese as much as you want...

I thought Novak was made in China or do they just get the unassembled kits from Asia and assembles the ESCs here in the USA?

I was wondering the same, although it seems there is already a plethora on the market.

I'm cool with it. My lawyer actually said I can stop HW's product from being sold here in the USA when HW admitted they liked my ideas in a MSN messenger chat lol. I'm not a lawyer and I have no clue if it's true, but it's a good thing I save all my MSN chats I have lol. Now all the good ideas are stored in a safe place.

3 things that would make me buy a mamba pro, in adition to my RX8...
1. push button programing, simaler to the sphere or tekin, I can't stand the RX/TX programing...
2. a FUSE!!! have something simple that will blow before the whole esc goes, saves you $$, saves us $$
3. user replaceable switch/servo leads without voiding the warrenty

2: I think fuses have been discussed to death, and it was decided a fuse that blows fast enough to protect anything is impossible or highly impractical, else theyd be commonplace on all escs.

I think that all these new controllers hitting the market are great and gives us choices. It also creates some competitiona nd will hopefully keep everyone in check to prevent absurd prices. However as it has been mentioned many times, I would like to see a handheld programmer. Even if it cost $100, it's still cheaper and easier than carrying a laptop to the track, I think $50-75 would be a more marketable price point though.

Sounds great. Will the original MM be phased out when these are released?

Smaller footprint will be nice and external caps are no problem.
