Nice job.

One thing I do to any Hyperion style balance connector (on the battery and on the harness going to the charger/balancer is re-order the wires so they can be used with any balancer. I really don't know why they have that silly empty slot(s) scheme. Not only does it make sense, I can use the same harness with 2s, 3s, and 4s packs.

Just curious, why didn't you simply remove the two unused wires?

thanks bro

I thought about rewiring things to be like other brands... stupid hyperion. If I had rewired them, the harness would work with 2,3,4s... but ultimately decided I should leave everything "stock" to avoid confusion and so it would work with someone else's hyperion packs. Stupid hyperion

I just left the wires there for strength/durability of the whole contraption I guess... taped and shrunk to the rest of the wiring.

Something I'm doing to my hyperion taps on the packs... cut off the little lock tab on the connector. Makes them easier to remove, and the conns are plenty tight, don't need the lock tab at all.
