If you do wet lay-up, the tool you need is two 2 mm steel plates with a simple 10° bend. I'm assuming you're applying vacuum for curing at room temperature.

I would advise against heating and bending of duromers like epoxy as they degrade if you heat just a bit too much.

Are the 0/90 and +/-45 degree layers distributed evenly? If you have access to UD rovings or sheets, you could improve bending stiffness a lot.
