I have used the oven method a few times as well. It does smell(make sure the women of the house are not home or you will be in BIG TROUBLE!!). I heat the oven up to full temp(550), put the wheels inside and turn it off. Comne back in 30 minutes(gloves may help here!) and the wheels are pretty hot, but the tires peel off fairly easily. I then dremel the inner bead of the tires to clean them up before re-gluing them onto another wheel.
The de-bonder doesn't work too great(tried it-no dice). I haven't tried boiling either(need a big pot to boil 4 MT sized tires!).
