Cheapest durable brushless basher - 06.22.2009, 06:14 PM

I'm looking to get a new RC, right now I have a brushed E-Revo (will be sold).
I'm a student and have to mind my budget quite a bit, but don't hold back any options if you think it'll be too expensive, I'll decide if it's too expensive...

The most important thing for me is durability and sturdiness.
I want to bash hard without having to buy replacement parts too often, as they're not cheap here in Belgium...

I like the look of MT's and Truggy's, maybe buggy's.

I've been searching for a while now and have concluded this:
- If I go MT, I'd buy a used ERBE.
- If I go Truggy, I'd buy a used MBX5T Prospec or Hyper ST Pro.
(Either way I'll buy lipo's and stuff from HC.)

But to my surprise the Truggy option is more expensive than the E-Revo option... If I buy a used E-Revo I get everything with it, except lipo's and charger.
If I buy a Truggy roller, I still have to buy:
- Motor mount
- wheels & tires
- Radio system
- Motor
- ESC
- And ofcourse Lipo's and charger.

Is there a cheaper way to get one of these 1/8 truggy's brushless?
Or should I be looking at 1/10 scale truggy's & MT's? Are they as durable?
Or do you have another idea for me?
Thanks a lot!
