what you saw in that HPI vid sounds like a recipi for desaster.
sure it's possible, heck i'd run 10C lipo's safely....BUT to do it you are talking very low load driving.
no hard throttle/brake mashing, no high speed runs, slow acceleration. and even then you still run a risk.

so basicly...the more you spend on the lipo's the better, if you can afford, get some NEU or Enerland lipo's cause then you can kain the heck out of the flux and not have to worry about the MMM having ripple current etc.

as an extra mesure i found out that our LHS is getting a shipement of savage fluxes, so i offered to print up a extra set of instructions regarding how not the blow up your monster.
lets hope the guy isnt too arrogant to accept my advice.
