I have the knockoff Badlands for my 1/8 buggy and they are excellent tires, IMO.

The rims, on the other hand, are crap. I've shattered two rims just racing. Yikes!

Do you recommend a specific tire/rim combo from them?

17mm, most likely will be on my ESavage or EMaxx...
IMO the knock-off badlands are too hard of a compund to grip effectively on anything other than super soft surfaces.

I ran both the original Proline Badlands and the knock-off badlands (with 17mm adapters) on my Rustler VXL and the Proline's were awsome on every surface, and the knock-offs really sucked.

Go for the racing spikes (I found them fantastic) or spend the extra $$$ and buy what SupraSales call the "PRO" version which they call a soft compund.

Alright, so these?

I basically need something that will work in low cut grass (well... Medium kind of), pavement, and dirt.

Will work great offroad, can't comment on how long they will last on pavement however.

I should note that I have the "Pro" version of the knockoffs, and they work well for me.

Ahhhh, gotcha, thanks.

Wait, so, if the pro makes the tires better... Would the badlands (or bigblocks) pro version be better? :X Sorry if I'm making you run in a circle!

I wouldnt waste the extra money on them if you just using the for bashing or whatever. Its not going to make that much of a difference.
