flightmaxx and yes balanced and charged,, nothing in the drivetrain binding as I redid the diffs yesterday and they were empty of course.. by the way any owners of these you will want to pull the diffs apart before running long as alot of people say their diffs are empty when the open em up..
By the way guys.. I am jldjlaudio on rctech and not new to this hobby by any means,, just new to the BL stuff as I havve a full size BL revo and so does my wife. Just nothing going right on my 3 yr olds lil revo!

Only two things I can think of is training mode somehow draining the batteries faster or the batteries were plugged in and the car sat awhile. I would take it out of training mode and see how long that lasts.
Did you have training mode on when you ran one battery for 15 minutes?

That is really weird. If it happens once it can just be a fluke, keep running (so long as nothing is overheating) and see what happens.

Hmmm.. Maybe you confused thermaling with the lipo cutoff? Or with the 1/10th scale vxls wasn't there an issue with a sensitive cutoff? With your temps I think you need to gear down. I bet the esc is thermaling and that's making it slow down. I also wouldn't rule out the motor could be going bad at those temps...

I dunno that much about bl stuff and lipos yet but I do know this thing should not be having all these issues being like new still... I am running the stock gearing which alot of others said this thing should run like a monster with the stock set up and these lipos! it's making me mad how these companies can sell these RC cars as RTR and alot of people do not have internet or even then they don't hunt around to see all the issues like this.. My 8ight t 2.0 had alot of crap wrong with it out of the box and now this one does as well.. any other joe shmo would have bought it for their kid and then poof issues and they would think they were at fault and just go out and spend more money to replace stuff. I don't want a car that after a week I gotta rip it apart and find no diff lube in the thing, or these problems and on and on ECT! I would rather send this thing to someone other than traxxas to find the problem as their the ones who made the thing and it came out of the box with issues!!!!

Have you checked the voltage of your lipos at the end of your run?
You're probably not using all of the charge.
I would say the esc is probably going thermal.

Gear down. Are you running the stock tires? It also could be your driving style, I dunno. Maybe you're a little harder on your stuff then other people? Not saying you are hard on stuff or that's a bad thing, but just throwing that out there as a possibility.
The gearing. Traxxas needs to advertize. To help boost sales, they advertize the truck will go 60mph+. The only way to do that is by gearing a little too high. Some people won't have issues and some people will.
Also, if your motor turns out to be damaged by the heat, you could probably send it into traxxas. It's not a fun or quick thing to do, but it might be your best option.
