I think so too. Was coming ebay for parts bags the other day and there is barely anything on there anymore :(

Sad as I got a whole F suspension bag for like $25 or so. Arms, pins, bulks, tons of stuff.

Crapola. Only store I know of that sells HST parts is RC NITRO HOBBIES, and they have a limited selection now.

nitrohouse.com carries every ofna part ever made. Good service too. You should be able to find your HST parts there no problem.


But I vote for Xray.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...

Well, I've decided when I do my 1/8 Truggy conversion I'm going to get a Gen2 Truggy. The Losi and MBX6T look the best because of the new body style IMO. I like the Mugen but the CF towers worry me bashing wise and with the Losi I have the option to get a SmartDiff.

I know one thing for sure it's going to be a long time before I get anything...

Individual parts are avail in lots of places, but the Ebay chop shops seem to be slowing down. They are great for a lrg # of cheap parts for certain things.

I voted HST as I have one :) but really any decent truggy should be very tough. The HST was nice as it was tough and cheap. The hondas of truggies lol.

The diff cases,diffs,drive axles, and a lot of the hardware and some smaller peices are the same. Ben thinking about getting one myself and I have tons of spare LSP parts and was curious what parts they shared, Not much at all..

Thunder Tiger ST-1 Pro has been my main rc for the last 20 months or so. Still pretty competitive at racing, even though most other cars are a year or more older. It's pretty solid, I've had to replace almost no parts on it. Cheaper than most as well. Amain still has losts of spares for it. Personally I'd only spend another $200 + on a newer car is if I was really worried about parts staying available, or I wanted the latest and greatest truggy for racing.

I would have to say the Mugen MBX5-T. Everyone I have talked to who owns one at the LHS says they are very tough, I have one and haven't yet gotten to really test its durability but so far it has taken a few tumbles with no breakage. And a lot of people here on RCM think their MBX5-T's are super durable. I haven't heard of any durability issues with the MBX6-T yet either.
