I was going for mountain dew but sprite works..

Mini-update. had a problem since i had the truck. off Every jump the truck would nose dive horribly, i went with heavier springs to compensate for the weight of the truck.. ajd now have 70w oil in the shocks with #3 variable dampening pistons.. now the truck is more stable on flat ground.... I was about to jump it when my battery packs hit cuttoff.. Was this a move in the right direction?

Make SURE your battery is very securely strapped down! Before I went to the races a few weeks ago, I reinforced my battery mounting plate with a bar underneath to brace it when you land off jumps, because it just bends otherwise, badly. Also I put velcro tape (sticky on one side) on both the batteries and the plate, with a single velcro buckle strap to hold in on. The combination of the two makes for a very secure hold.
