This is most likely your problem! Grass is alot more drag than most realize. Esspecially with a buggy, you have smaller tires and not a lot of ground clearence, not only do the smaller tires not roll through the grass easy but your plowing grass with the entire chassis and suspension. Try running on dirt or ashpalt and see check your temps
