Are there any skid plates available to protect the center of the chassis? I'd hate to see that beautiful plate get all messed up.

Speaking of which, one of the obvious changes from stock to G2 is the placement of the batteries. On the G2, it looks like it brings the batteries flush with the extreme bottom of the chassis, which means the center clearance is now quite a bit lower. I can see where this would be a great boon to racers, but is that conversely bad for pure bashers?

For instance in stock trim, my E-Maxx can actually climb the 5" high step plus threshold to get inside my front door, which I don't believe it would be able to do with the G2 chassis. Granted, that's not a critical need, but it is kinda cool and it keeps my dog on her toes. ;) But more practical concerns in the yard are the big pine tree roots, my neighbors garden bricks (don't tell her!), and where the concrete of the street meets the edge of the ditch.
