09.08.2009, 09:03 PM
I have a couple of projects going.
1. mbx-5 conversion to a road car ( already BL )
2. mbx-5T nitro to BL conversion
3. Ofna Ravenger...already converted..just going through it
How many of you have placed an order w/say...AMain for example and 15 mins. after placing an order, you discover after working on your truck more, that there is something you need and don't have.
This has happened to me twice this week...Or realized after placing the order you forgot to add something to your cart even though you wrote down what you needed!
1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

Or better yet, go to an online store for a certain item, get caught up browsing around and adding stuff to the cart, and end up forgetting the single thing you went there for in the first place!

The only law I seem to abide by is Murphy's.

I do that with every order I make. I started writing everything down and it helps but, without fail, I always forget 1 thing and I'm too frugal to pay another $5-$8 to ship 1 item so I have to order everything I could possibly need for my other RCs to make it worth my while.
Having just 3 works-in-progress would make this a little more difficult though. I've got a dozen or so RCs in total so I'm always in need of parts.
All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

thats why I love Mike though, You order all your stuff then "crap I forgot a spur". He realizes you screwed up and 2 orders in a row, puts it all in 1 box and no 2nd shipping. good man. Not amain I get jacked everytime. Mostly my fault but why no 20 minute appeal

If you call a-main they will add stuff to your order and ship it with the first order. Ive done it more than once.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Probably true but its like calling the bank and asking why they charged you $35 for a $7 overdraft. Its nice to know people like RCM aren't going to ruin you for a nickle

Mike = #1
nuff said.
And yeah, that's happened to me a ton of times. Royal pain my ass...
End up going down to the LHS and hocking up $6 for a $2 part since it ends up the same with shipping.

My problem is that I will get a project started, order what I need and then move on to another project before the parts arrive for the 1st... I have stuff that has been sitting for more than a year cause of this. If I could get the parts locally I would never have to bounce around with 10 different projects like I do...
Good thing is I have ac in the hobby room again! So maybe I can finish some of the stuff that I need to do...

Whoever packed it probably just didn't notice the buyer/address on both orders (probably had several others in between). He doesn't make money on shipping, and it takes more effort/time to pack two boxes, so I HIGHLY doubt he did it on purpose.
