I think i heard of someone going 116km/h which is something like 65mph or something. Im sure it can go faster, just put a brushless set up and high as gearing cause acceleration doesnt matter

got a link to this?

i am just interested in what motor he used and how many cells.

With a 10S2P lipo it would be possible i guess. the HPI nubz have got some lines inside the tires that would keep them from balooning.

it is not possible with a brushed motor and 36 cells to get to this speed. sounds like crap to me.

with brushless and 36 cells you are not able to get to this speed.
