I would have to disagree with you on that one. 
With the ERBE vs Summit I have to agree with junkman. There's a reason why Traxxas build two different cars. Imho the Summit isn't a 'great' basher because reasons mentioned earlier.
Anyway. I have a MMM combo in one of my trucks and I do recognize the stuttering and cogging at low speed, maybe it's my settings but it's definitely present at low speed, not that I care because I don't run low speed. The Tekin does have a real smooth start as can be seen from numerous of other vids on YouTube,
like this one. So I do think that waiting for some more responses might be helpfull. Don't have any experience with the Tekin combo, heard that the Esc rules and the motor
