Lincpimp - they're probably still 2-pole & i can tell you that without even opening it up. Cost for the new ones is still the same as the older ones. But yeah i really love the new design of the CM36 motors. You can actually get into them now without having to hack away at that epoxy stuff, & the screws wont snap while tightening/loosening either!

Also notice how the endbell is fully enclosed, not like the older style where the bearing had an opening but was covered by the sticker...
Return that 4600 -- We'll replace it. We had some issues where our shaft vendor was hardening the shafts too hard, and they would snap.

I would return it, but i live far far away in australia. Ive got a spare rotor from a 5700 i got when i first purchased a MM combo. I appreciate your comments though mate. & I know the offer is there if i need it.

& Im not trying to give you guys bad rep. Im always going to be a CC guy through & through. Besides, ive got a new 4600 motor & new esc to play with now...

BTW, i know its not needed for this application, but its going in a slash. & now MLT (my local track) is trying to put a motor limit of 10.5 in for next year, so i have room to run sensored now properly too!
