Why didn't it die? - 11.22.2009, 09:06 AM

Was running and jumping down at the park today(grass). I hit a jump and landed badly and it did over 10 cartwheels on grass. Run down, flip it over - nothing. Guess the connectors unplugged. Open the lid, the connectors are together. Then I see the negative bullet on the MMM is unplugged (V2). With the bullet loose I tried to disconnect the battery and all of a sudden the neg. plug touched one of the motor bullets and a spark flew up.(no smoke) Then I started thinking where should I order my new MMM and if CC will replace my V2. I carefully unplug the batts and also the motor connections. Then, with even more care I plug the lipos back in(thought it would catch fire) and the lights come up. Plug everything back and it's working normal.

I was running 6S.

Here's what happened to the plugs that touched:

Now, shouldn't it be dead from the hit?
