Turnigy 2S1P 5200 Hard Case 30C not good for ERBE?

I'd advise against hardcases, sorry forgot that bit!

The plastic cases are-

1. gonna make it impossible to watch temps
2. transfer too much cold into the pack
3. take up space that could be used for some thin foam sheeting (blankie)

I used some ~4mm white packing foam last winter, the kind that won't absorb water.
Coldest I ran was about 10-15F.

You could still run those packs, but I would recommend taking them out of the cases.
