And I agree with thzero, those XL tires are gonna strain your tranny, Lipos and ESC with a good chance of breaking them. Gear the pinion down to 18T or 16T

BS!

from someone who has actually run XL tyres on his Flux

They make no descernable difference to the motor or esc temp and eagletree amp draw went up from 120 amp peak to 124 amp peak.

If anything the motor came off cooler

And that was in the middle of a 90 degree day.

Don't make comments without actually trying them first. Perhaps you can scam some from HPI, the tread on your stockers is wearing down, surely that should be warranty!

Wow, yes sir, whatever you say sir.

However, it is nice that you've tried it and were able to give feedback on it. I originally made the suggestion based on moving to Big Joes from stock X tires and had to regear slightly because of the larger size. And the Terra Pins are slightly bigger, but probably not quite as heavy either.

P.S. Scamming a quality company like HPI isn't cool, all one does is hurt the company when doing that.

Thanks for the info guys. I want to get an eagletree...that is some good stuff to track and the information is invaluable.

On the side note. Lets keep this civil. I know we dont all agree on some things (not mentioning it ON PURPOSE) but this is NOT the thread bash others with your opinions. I would really appreciate keeping this on topic.
