The buggy tray won't fit the truggy directly - the holes are slightly different. The truggy tray is significantly larger, but you can use the extra size to tune front/rear weight bias with a smaller pack. I line my trays with a thin foam(for traction and padding), which allows the battery to stay put during the run. Some use a small amount of velcro on the battery and tray to add positioning security. :)

If you want to, you could make anything fit. The specific issue is the fact that I machine away the excess material under the tray for reduced weight and/or wire routing - so the tray has material where it attaches to its specific vehicle chasis, and no material elsewhere. If you used the rear holes on the buggy tray(same orientation as the truggy tray), you could install it onto the truggy by drilling and countersinking a single hole into the chassis. I also have 2 "prototype" buggy trays that don't have all the aggressive pocketing on the underside - this may allow more positioning oportunities at the expense of an extra ounce of weight. :)

I hadn't planned on it, but it is a fairly easy task to do if there is demand for this layout style. The existing motor mount should work fine, so it would only be a matter of making a couple battery trays (could be very easily done already simply by using a pair of our currently available battery trays and spacing the CD for spur clearance).

No, But you can build a compleate AE RC8 center diff with a plastic spur & it will fit into the stock Mugen center diff mount. I've also used a compleate Kyosho Inferno center diff with Kyosho plastic spur but this is about 2mm to long to fit into the stock mugen mounts so mods are required.

Would the RCM battery tray be able to accommodate 2 x 2s kipos inside?

the mbx6 buggy tray is a perfekt fit for 2 hardacse lipos and the truggy tray allows to drive longer lipos like the hyperion 6500er.

the sizes are describe on the rc -monster page if you reed it.

i drive the buggy tray in my mugen truggybecuase i dont need the longer one. it fits good. i have drilled two holes to make it fit. i like it

I've done the measurement of my 2 x 2s lipos stacked. The buggy battery tray will be a good pick. Thanks.
Though highly improbable, do any of you run on 2 x 2s fitted in the single battery tray? If so, please post pics. :)

Can someone flip the motor mount to the opposite side of the servo and measure how much clearance it has to clear for the motor?

Is there a need to use offset tires with the 6T?

No. Zero offset is what is needed.
