For anyone who needs to adjust their Savage tranny.
I'll see if this helps my Savage out or not.

Cool, I'll have to use that when I get my Savage all put back together, but I doubt I'll be able to hear it do the click......there might be a change in the sound of the motor, but not much more becuase it's fairly quiet.

the xtm is 24.7 kinda odd...but whatever...either way that motor hauls for what the price is and for a basher i'd go with it cause it has good top end and bottom...also you could prolly get it tuned by eb mods or something for around what the rb would cost and have similar performance...just a thought

Well I was going to go with the Novarossi. Come to find out, you can't put a roto start/pull start on those things very easily. So I sold it last week on ebay.
I put the XTM in there for now and you are right, it does have alot of torque but I would have to dissagree with you on the top-end part. I havn't takin the radar gun to it yet but it does seem slower than the Traxxas 2.5 I had in there.
Once I radar it with the XTM, I will take that out and put the RB in there and see what she does.
I'll keep you posted.

Btw, what's an eb mod and why would I have them tune my engine?
Thanks

EB mods is a comapny www.ebmods.com they do stuff to the insides of the engine to give it more power and speed, like add more ports on the piston, bigger ports, polish the sleeve, and probably some other stuff, all resulting in more power, speed, maybe better fuel economy, and a bigger smile on ur face lol well hopefully. If i was you i would stick in the RB cause that should be mean as!

correct sorry i should have been more clear...but they do awesome work to engines....they are just as good as having a jp black novarossi...all there stuff is high quality no bs you get exactly what you pay for...... I am actually thinking of getting an os .18tm from them and then running my trx 2.5 in some other nitro like prolly my nitro rs4 which i am thinking of going rally with
