Yeah, they're a little big, but it's just a prototype. Yeah, I seem to have too much time on my hands. It's the result of having no cash for new projects.
I've often wondered what "could" go wrong with having the solder tabs exposed? Sometimes I run my E Revo without the lid on it.

That's a novel idea. That doesn't look bad at all.

I really like how that motor looks. Been wanting one myself, but I'll probably wait until after Christmas just to be sure a new Tekin T8 is affordable ya know.

Do you have any pics of the entire setup? What I see looks pretty good.

Do you still have the old rotor laying around? I've been wondering if a Medusa Rotor will fit that motor, and also if there would be anything to gain by swapping it out?

The Medusa Rotor does have the exposed magnets on the very end. (Necessary for sensor operation).

I've been a little concerned about the rotor issue and ordering from an unknown vendor. (possibility of getting old stock with the troublesome rotor)

RC Monster is out of stock on them at the moment too.
