-You're in the hobby shop so much people think you work there and ask you all their questions
-You can answer those questions better than the people who work there
-Once you get your truck pulling standing backflips and 50 MPH wheelies you replace the motor with something more powerful
-You spend more money on R/Cs than your real cars
-You see a random part at the LHS or in someone else's toolbox and know who makes it, what it's for, and a dozen good uses for it in other R/Cs
-People at the LHS regularly call or text you asking for help with someone's truck
-Your truck becomes legendary with locals
-Before you've even bought a new R/C you're thinking of how you can trick it out to go even faster
-You leave your family on Christmas night to go run your R/Cs

Guilty to all the above

EDIT:

-You drive 20+ miles round trip to the hardware store to buy 2 $0.30 screws because they're the final link in your most recent build (I usually forget something and have to go back twice)
-You order screws and bearings in bulk
-You have Castle Creations or Neu motors in your speed dial (not true for me, I have Neu in my addressbook but that's it)
-The LHS calls you to tell you of their latest electric conversion, and from what you hear over the phone you can tell it's got a CC 2200 in it (happened about 10 minutes ago)
-Someone asks you if an ESC, motor, or battery will be sufficient and you start off with "Well, it's RATED to handle [x] but you can push it to [y]...."

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.
