I had to mod one of my AE outdrives very minorly to get it to fit, but it only required enlonggating the pin hole with a dremmel diamond bit. I'm not sure if I have the new backplate or not.
I already have a set of the new outdrives on order :D
Sounds really good and the engineering is awesome.
I would like to greatly increase the stability of my monster.
What gains would I see or feel if I used this in my custom 4 wheel drive 1/5 scale Mamba Monster Combo 6s lipo ?

In this poor video I am was trying to show the slipperential in action. You can hear the motor winding up as the spur spins and the slipperential slips before the tires start to spin.
The pads surface area will have a r/c weight limit where anything but a locked slipper would slip to much. But you don't look real heavy.
For on-road I think it would give more traction tunning ability to match road surfaces. Faster hole shots.
