If I'm going to the $150 range, any other good options?
I can buy this motor locally with good warranty and service :

If I were looking for a "real" motor, then 4 pole would be the way to go.

2 pole motors tend to run hotter, make less power and live a much shorter life.

Several 4 pole motors come to mind that I've been considering:

1. Castle Neu - 2200kv
2. Savage Flux - 2200kv (Same as #1, but has more mounting holes)
3. Tekin T8 - 2250kv - 4 pole sensored, only one of it's kind on the market
4. Losi Xcelorin - 2100kv

Check em out if you haven't already.
