Notice all the open space below the motor too, that's just a waste. Even before I put the FLM extended LCG chassis plates on my Savage, I had my motor mout as low as possible (under the spur actually), mounted to the purple anodized plate that the stock engine mounts with a piece of 1/8" alum. angle. They look to have used 1/4" or so, and it'd be real sturdy, but you also just don't need that much and it adds weight.

It's a good idea, and nice to see it kinda going mainstream........but.......I wish they'd done it better.
