hv is cutting out

Unless I'm mistaken, the glitchbuster is a cap that plugs into your receiver. Not the one on the ESC.

hi folks, i havent had a chance to do a functions test yet, the cap is new on one of the remanned system i just got, so im gonna give the power cap the benefit of the dout.the 6.5 is also remanned new maybe 15 passes on it.The batts have only 30 or so passes on them allthough the positive plugs on my reedy 5000 35c's do show some heat distortion do to an atttempt to run hv 4.5 2s on my lxe witch i abandoned after the first race because of the distortion. the Rx is one of the three spares i have that have been back to spectrum because of earlier failures and this is its first duty since coming back from spectrum. The servo is one ive had for a wile but worked great in the Truggy on Gas.Im fairly sure that as before the glitch buster was added the Rx is going dark" On throtle" altough not as quickly as it was before the glitch buster was added.I am just about done with HV unless i work it out soon

You said you have a potentially bad connector. I would definitely replace it and carefully inspect all other connectors. A single weak spot could anywhere in the power delivery chain will cause problems. A poor contact introduces contact resistance, and when current flows through it, it creates a voltage drop, which means the ESC is seeing less voltage. Example, 50A running though a connector with even 0.1 ohms of resistance will drop 5v. So, instead of the ESC seeing 14.8v, it is only getting 9.8v. That alone could cause all your problems.

If the rx is still going dark, it is essentially shutting down momentarily. When this happens, you will have no control momentarily. This could be caused by a weak BEC, battery voltage dropping enough so the BEC can't output enough voltage to keep the BEC going, or maybe even a "noisy" BEC line. The easiest way to test this would be to temporarily use a receiver pack to power the rx and servo(s). Just don't forget to pull the red wire from the throttle connector when you do this.

Also, if the servo is going bad for some reason or is being stalled because of mechanical limits, it could be pulling too much current causing the BEC to go into overload protection. Maybe try a different servo temporarily (doesn't matter what size, it's just temporary).

Since you say this is happening on throttle only, I would suspect the BEC and/or the battery voltage dropping too low. Don't forget, the HV system taps into only one pack to supply the BEC, and the BEC needs a voltage level a little higher than it's rating (dropout voltage), so if the 2s pack drops too much, the BEC output drops even more.
