Well, I met up with the guy today and got paid - cash.
I don't think they are fake, but I won't be 100% relaxed until they are safely deposited into my bank account. I guess I'll have to set aside a few days to get my car fixed (ugh...) and drive the truck in the mean time. Maybe I can jack my dad's car again, that'd definitely be nice. Fat chance though...
