They have Losi Rims and the Tyres look to be Proline Bowties.

Smallest pinion in Mod 1 I have is a 17t, on 4s A123 that'd be 40.82mph

Would that work? Obviously on 4s Lipo I'd have to find a 15t pinion and would land at 40.39mph

Keep in mind the Savage Flux motor won't allow an external heatsink or fan due to it's non-standard dimensions.

a savage flux motor is a neu motor and doesn't need silly fans, It's a cool character all by itself. On 4s you won't even be pushing it. Your gearing sounds about right.
