You dont have to have the sensor harness plugged in, the esc ( sensorless ones of any sort ) will just run the motor in sensorless mode; a sensored only esc has to run sensored motors though ( like the novak stuff ), it cant run sensorless motors.
The tekins ( I think ) and mmpro are hybrid sensored and sensorless escs though, best of both worlds. |
