NO definitely now. Of course there have been those who have had one problem after another, but in the end alot of it was due to a faulty system setup that killed one ESC after another. Some have just received bad electronics from the start, but that is rare. Not sure of exactly what your setup situation was, but all we can tell you is to make sure that when you go to hook up your next setup to the ESC that all of your connections are perfect and not touching anything metal on your chassis, tranny, or whatever so as to avoid any dead shorts. Most have pretty good luck with the electrics as long as you are compitent about putting your system together. It never hurts to have a second set of eyes(R/C knowledgable) look at your setup as well. Sorry to hear of your misfortune and better luck next go around.
