Yeah, and I was just reading about that when I was looking up the difference between classical liberalism (of the founding fathers) and what the current batch of loons practice as liberalism.

Even the women folk are practitioners of this bill, as evidenced by a lady who shot dead an armed intruder in here home. Brings a tear to my eye...

Goes back to a major point in this debate: if you take the right to bear arms away from law abiding people, the ones who end up with the weapons are the bad guys (of course) and a government who governs over an unarmed population. And this same government will soon evolve into using threat of force to keep everybody in line.
Yes, that is the road we are travelling down. Keep your guns clean, and your ammo plentiful. You will need it. And to everyone who is sucking sand right now, when you do have your head pulled out, stay out of the way of those of us who will fight for us all. We will be the minority, but we will not go down easily.

If you do not think I am anywhere close to the truth I invite you to peruse the annuals of history and read of the demise of the other great culters, rome, and greece. Also you may want to read the full history of England and see how socialism has crippled a giant. Making everyone act equal just does not work. I was not created equal and my human nature will always push me to be better than everyone else. That is what makes us top of the food chain, and we need to start seeing it for what it really is.

Time to get off the soap box, the air up here is thin and smells of demise.

Huge differences between the two for sure.

Our founding fathers would be disappointed today for sure, with both political parties.

The country is broke, we owe trillions in debt, and the answer of our government is get bigger and spend more. This defies any logic or common sense. Our country is in big trouble, just have to open your eyes.

When things get tighter financially at my house, we shrink our spending, don't do anything necessary, and keep things to a minimum. We also try to rid ourselves of debt, because it's not healthy. The borrower is always slave to the lender.
