I came close to getting a zippie once....When it sat in processing for 3 days I canceled the order. There are alternatives that are pretty close in price from companies right here in the US. I paid $84 for my 4s 5500mah Neu pack, haven't looked at comparable zippies lately but I'll pay Neu over HC any day.

You do realise ofcourse that the vast majority of lithium based cells originate in korea or china right, and they are just made to a certain spec that the retailer wants before being shipped to america etc to be assembled into packs ( exactly whay MA does )?

Jerkwad is at it again... - 07.06.2010, 10:47 AM

This popped up today on my ebay search bot results.

Its listed under "slipperental" again.

Can we all spam ebay with reported item complaints?
This is the 3rd time its been up. They really aught to suspend his acct. On the upside, he still has 26 avail, only 4 down from the 30 he started with.

Note that he is listing some items as "slipper CentreDiff" now. I'll have to update my search.
Here are more results to hit up:

I took it upon myself to send a email telling them the product their selling is a copy of the real slipperential and they responed with this;

"we hearing from the factory.hobbypro will follow the case with usa lawer.i will close this first.

sorry to see what has happened.

Seems nowadays you have to offer something more than just the product itself to combat the clones like long warranty and great customer service, etc. Especially with people looking to save a buck.

It does look like freaking "ASSMANN" is trying to copy the Slipperential. I swear to god that if I ever see someone at the track with a copied Slipperential, I will kick them in the nuts sooo hard, they are going to puke for a week!!!!!
