I think my MMM has finally bit the dust -

Hey guys,
I've been a proud user of the MMM ever since the 2200 combo was released. It's worked flawlessly up until now, but I think it's finally packed it in.
Basically, when I connect my lipo's, the receiver and servo power up fine and work ok, but the MMM makes no sound on start up, and there is no throttle response. The MMM just has a dimly lit red flashing light.
I tried connecting it up to the Castle Link, and it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting itself to the PC.
There is no evidence to suggest why the MMM has suddenly stopped working. It didn't blow up, the BEC appears to function fine. I checked the FAQ for information regarding what the lights on the MMM mean, and there is no description for just a flashing red light.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, otherwise it looks like I might have to send this in to Castle.
I have read your other thread, I don't remember anyone suggesting to try another motor or to check the motor connections. Usually when a MMM dies it it dead and the bec doesn't work either. That leads me to beleive it may be the motor or a motor connection
I know I'll have to pay shipping, but will I have to pay for it to be repaired? It just stopped working out of the blue, i've treated it good and proper since I first turned it on.
I bought it in the MMM 2200 combo package when they first came out, and I bought it online and don't have a receipt. How do I know if it's still under warranty?
I had this problem with a v3.1 MMM. It would power everything but wouldn't arm. I tried messing with the radio trims with not luck. I even tried a new radio with no such luck either. I swapped in another MMM in the truck and it worked flawlessly.
I sent that one in for repairs. I got a new MMM with a new 1yr warranty for the $70 flat fee.

Why did you have to pay $70 if it just randomly stopped working and wasn't your fault?
Castle has a 1 year warranty on their electronics. Outside of that you normally have to pay a flat replacement fee. One exception is if your MMM is a V1 or V2- CC has said they will be replaced whenever and for free.
