Also, all the warrior car controllers have reverse-just a matter of programming.

Finally ran the Feigao 380C-6L on the BK7020 on 7cells (using homemade BEC, I do have to set to 5v, or I get cogging on elderly GP3300s). Soldered to perfection, it's awesome even on the huge wheels. Temps get to 60C on motor & ESC during speed runs with body on and 84/18 gearing. Ordered a Swami wheelie bar to protect the motor. Seems to be ~40mph on the Maxx tires... silly fast... Seems like an 8T brushed.
Can use current batts now & bettter ones later. Tall grass, or anything else, is no problem; bottom torque requires a wheelie bar.
My T-maxx is out-of-service (620MG Blue Bird steering servo keeps cracking cases on Moab 40's, & I can't find the newer BMS black cases), so I'll be running brushless for awhile & charging batts! Great to have an electric as strong as my nitro for when I can't get to the parks.
EDIT: I forgot to glue my tires... made a big difference, to say the least. I think I'll mod my BEC to allow different voltages, 4.8/5.0/6.0 for different packs and allow passthru batt voltage when batt sags below the setting (& beep or something then too, so I know, cogging is nearby).
Thanks for the great products & advice :027:
