Thanks Mike,

I'll make my "new" 3600+ packs all 7cell to try to keep that voltage up. I think I need it to push the heavy Maxx tires on the Stampede/380C-6L (just gotta find the right gearing). Many say the old/flaky software in the BK7018 isn't so smooth below 8cells (tho some say cheap 6cell 2400's were smooth).

I just want enough cells to hit 25+mph, enough to hit a ramp in the yard (short take off), anything else is gravy for me. My 16x2 Epic Intense gave it a good shot on 7 GP3300, but the 13T+ ESC de-soldered it's factory battery wire from the heat. Still works, & thermals, they just set the thermal too high & used 14ga. I think BK thermals at 110C, I'll probably add a cheap fan, easy enough.

I'll use your sticky thread for programming the BK ESC and turning its BEC off; that's where I learned about the convenient motor reversing too, thanks. I don't think I hooked up 3 BL wires yet that spun proper direction, some luck eh? :027:

As nice as that jumper is, doesn't BK come already with 3.5mm gold plugs, so motor reversal would be simple anyway. I think use of the plugs is a BK warranty condition. Not like I'm racing or want to solder, I happen to like easy disconnect for service.
