sorry to bring back an old topic, but I figure better than starting a new one?

Anyway, here is what I am experiencing:

At the race recently I decided to put more power into my vehicles while still running my trusty Novak Havoc ESCs. I went from a Novak Ballistic 13.5 to a 8.5 for both 2wd 1/10 buggy and 2wd SCT.

The power was right on just like how I like, but I had some instances of what I would describe as a brown out. during the runs, it seemed as if all of a sudden I lost power to the motor, then it would come on again and be fine. Servo steering was fine.

This would happen about midway in the race. I was advised by others they have experienced this too. Adding to this, at some point someone yelled to the marshalls to turn the car off then on to "reset" the esc as they had experienced this before with there havoc usage.

Temps on the motor and ESC were 150s & 130s respectively.

I am using high power servos, which makes me wonder if I need a glitch buster cap?

Any ideas?
