Not sure what motor you are running, but I did 73mph with a box stock tamiya tt-01 (100 dollar kit), with bearings, a feigao 380 6s, MM, 3s maxamps 4000mah (yeah, it actually provided enough juice to do this, repeatedly), and foams. I did use a 10th scale gas body (200 mm, wide enough to not have to cut the wheel openings and still steer), Lola style shape. I had so much down force on the reat I had to put shock shaft spacers or the rear of the car would squat over 50mph and rub.

As far as your car making it into a mag, I think you will do just fine. They publish all kinds of stuff, even clean stock rcs.

T-Bro, What I wrote earlier was not meant to be a slight or insult I was just pointing out the flaws to give you a chance to fix them to improve the chances of you achieving your ambition and getting featured in magazines, my comments were made with that in mind, do the pictures and the car look as good or better than many I see posted on this or other forums (including some of my own)? Yes they do, but then I am not trying to get mine published. You asked in the OP for opinions on whether you would make the grade and In my opinion the pictures you posted are not magazine feature grade so I gave you some pointers on how you could easily and cheaply improve both the quality of the pictures and also the aesthetics of the car to maximise your chances of achieving your ambition.
If I got you wrong and your not after help achieving your ambition of being featured in the mags and just want to be praised on the forums, then your car does look very cool, goes pretty quick, and your photos are better than many I see on the forums, feel free to ignore my earlier comments, and I am sorry if I caused you any offence.

Everyone else, If anyone thinks that by taking on board any of my criticisms or suggestions he would actually hurt his chances of getting published then feel free to criticize me all you want, if not then keep it to yourself until I tell you I'm trying to get my brown nosing rewarded, then by all means tell me what I'm doing wrong.
