Finally - this weekend I had the time to start the switch of motors.

It was more work than expected. I had to move and modify the motor mounts. When trying to get the ESC in place I noticed I had to move the brackets, and I would have to drill some new holes in the CF, but then it would become seriously weakened. I had to do a pair of new ones in Aluminum etc..

The new Lipos needed connectors etc as well, but finally I pulled it together and did the test.

The 4-pole motor is smooth... The balance in the truck is great, it handles really well. But it lacks all the aggression I'm after The power is just too little for having really fun.

No video was shoot, but I managed to get the logg:




The motor was about 48-50degC after the run, the ESC and the Lipos was cold.
