Yes sir, Underneath the chassis. With a very simple skid plate. Working well for over a year now. I really like what you have going on though. typical truggy layout. Thats probably where my maxx will end up in a couple years... or at least ditch the trans and get the motor down lower. I just took some shots of my skidplate and will add them to my thread later tonight if you want to see it.

I like the idea of those short towers as well... I bet you can really slam the body down low. I hate when I have the body as low as possible and there is a gap between chassis plate and bottom of the body...
