So I'll keep this thread alive...

After 3 packs through this truck, I'm glad I bought it thats for sure.

On the 2nd pack, the run ended short when the rear motor support came out of the slot on a big crash. It allowed the motor's front endbell to come apart from the can. I'm not sure what happened during production of this Neu motor. The front endbell only has 1 small Allen set screw holding the front endbell in place. Normally there's 4 of them.

So I pulled the Neu motor out and inspected everything. The motor still runs fine.

But I wanted to try the CC1520 motor that I picked up on the sale in here. I installed it and geared her with a 22t pinion instead of the 26t used on the Neu. I just ran the 3rd pack through it. The 1520 is seems just as strong and ran just as cool! No issues here. I did not install the rear motor brace again, yet...

I noticed, one of the Mashers in the rear came un-taped. The problem this causes if it makes the truck pull hard on some high speed passes.
I'm definitely in the market for some good low-profile 40 series bashing tires tho.

I'm thinking of getting a CC1717 to run in here on 6s as well. I'll definitely need to support the rear of this motor...
