He's not using the "cheap pot aluminum" Traxxas mount. He's using the rc-monster revo motor mount shown here: http://www.rc-monster.com/proddetail...d=RCMrevomount
Because it has a flat mounting surface to adapt to the stock revo mount, it also adapts quite well to other custom applications as well. |
