Unfortunately all of us have become pretty reliant on the latest technology and USPS sorts most of the mail these days by machine and scanners creating the likelyhood of mistakes just like this one. Just imagine that their percentage of lost mail is waaaaayyyy lower than it used to be when it was being done by hand. The good thing is that even if a mistake is made the system has the ability to recover and complete the shipping porcess. This is why they require at least 30 days for delivery before they will take any action on missing mail claims. Let us know how this works out for you.
