So ive been out for a while and need some battery help for my revo - 11.19.2010, 03:33 PM

Like i said ive been out of commision for a while.. after having my turnigy battery almost blow on me i havent had the finances to get another one... its been almost a year and i feel out of the loop
its a revo that i had set up for 4s and would like to keep it at 4s since thats the max my ice charger can handle. im looking to spend about 100 max on a battery.. are turnigys still the answer? i saw something about nano tech batteries?

currently have a mmm with the 2200kv motor

The Nano-tech lipos that hobbyking sell are very nice, although the Gens Ace lipos on hobbypartz.com have also been getting very good feedback; comparable price and specs:

Quality of the regular flightmax and turngiy lipos is fine, so long as you stick to the higher C rates & dont get a bad pack with a weak or dead cell- same old issues with iffy QC.

That said, the G2 packs Kershaw Designs is selling have gotten some good feedback too, but they only come in 2 or 3s flavour:
